Forgive me if I’m starting to sound like a broken record when it comes to Craigslist, but the latest email I received today had me laughing at just how obvious these scammers are.  Case in Point:  Last night I posted the following under Services Offered:
————————————–
CHEAP RESUMES – (Salem, VA)

Beware of scams. It takes a professional resume writer a minimum of 4 hours to write a quality resume. Not to mention the time it takes to conduct research and interview clients to thoroughly understand your background.

There are plenty of services offering resume writing for $49, $59, and $69. The question job seekers must ask is, “do I want someone who earns $10 per hour or less writing one of the most important documents I will use for my career?”

Work with a leader with a proven track record of success. Our writers are certified and local. Most on Craigslist are not. We’re also members of all the major resume writing associations.

Give us a call or email us  and decide for yourself.

Early this morning here’s the response I received in my email inbox:

Do I still have “the item” for sale? Is there anything wrong with it? Obviously these idiots don’t even bother to read the ads. This time I know better than to bother responding to campbelloneill4038@yahoo.com. Be careful when dealing with Craigslist.
